How It Works – SIM Personalization in 3 Simple Steps

Step 1 – Install the Software

Step 2 – Insert a Blank SIM Card
Take one of the blank SIM cards from the package (choose the correct size by snapping out 2FF, 3FF, or 4FF) and place it into your PC/SC‑compliant SIM card reader/writer. The software will detect the card automatically.

Step 3 – Write the Parameters
Using the software’s interface, fill in the required fields (ICCID, IMSI, KI, etc.) and click “Write”. The tool verifies the data and programs the card. After successful writing, the card can be inserted into a test device or deployed in your network.

For users who run Linux or macOS, the software CD is for Windows; however, the personalized SIM cards can then be used on any platform once programmed.

Important Notes – Professional Use Only

  • This kit is intended for engineers and telecom professionals. If you are unfamiliar with SIM card parameters or mobile network security, please do not attempt to use these tools without proper guidance.
  • The blank SIM cards supplied are completely empty. They do not contain any phone number, data plan, or service. They must be programmed with valid IMSI and Ki values before they can register on a live network.
  • Writing an incorrect Ki or authentication algorithm may permanently lock the card. Ensure you have the correct operator parameters before programming.
