What is a VoLTE SIM card?
A VoLTE (Voice over LTE) SIM card is a UICC that stores the ISIM application, enabling HD voice, video calling, and SMS over an LTE or 5G packet-switched network without falling back to 2G/3G circuits. Unlike legacy SIMs, VoLTE cards carry IMS credentials (IMPI, IMPU, domain, P-CSCF address) and support MILENAGE or XOR authentication for registration on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) cores.
